Loop yarn is a relatively new product in craft stores that allows people to knit without knitting needles. Even if you know how to knit, it’s pretty fun to use and it’s a good way to introduce people to fiber arts similar to knitting.
This Texture Blanket is a free pattern by Needlepointers.com and includes a photo and video tutorial. It’s a good overview of how to work different stitches and change color in loop yarn.

We’re a big Studio Ghibli household, and while they are sometimes very protective of their copyrights (as evidenced by the number of patterns on Ravelry that were removed from the service when it received a takedown notice back in 2021), there are still a fair number of Totoro knitting patterns (as well as other designs I’m sure we’ll get to someday). Let’s check them out!
