These little Thanksgiving decorations are adorable and would be so much fun to knit for the table this year.
There’s a turkey, acorns, pumpkins and leaves, and for the most part they are worked in Garter Stitch with some shaping. The pattern, from garilynn on Etsy, also uses crocheted chains and surface crochet, as well as applied and regular I-cord, so there are some fun skills there as well.
The pieces all use worsted weight yarn (she used Red Heart Super Saver, which is great for projects like this because of all the colors).
The pattern is available to download from Etsy for $5.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
