Reverse Stockinette Stitch is a simple way to add texture to a knitting project, and when combined with Stockinette it is especially effective as a contrast.
The Broken Sweater from Alina Schneider is a top down compound raglan that uses Stockinette on half of the garment and Reverse Stockinette on the other half, with a traveling slip stitch dividing the two. The look is a lot more complex than the execution.
The pattern comes in 9 sizes and is intended to be worn with about 7 inches of ease.
It looks super cozy, almost like the knit version of your favorite sweatshirt but with a lot more style. You can grab the pattern on Ravelry for $7.
