I have to admit that I do love the look of cropped sweaters, but I have never knit one (other than a cropped cardigan meant to be worn over another shirt).
I’m not a high-waisted skirt or pants kind of person, and I’m of a certain age (or lack of confidence, I should really say) where I don’t want to be showing off the part of my body that would be showing with a cropped sweater and pants that aren’t high waisted.
All that to say, this might be the sweater that changes my opinion about cropped sweaters (and maybe high-waisted skirts, for that matter; how cute is that skirt?).
My Boy Lollipop by Nancy Ricci is so cute, with a scoop neckline and fitted silhouette. It’s worked top down in the round, and of course you can knit it longer if you don’t like a cropped style.
The pattern is available on Ravelry for $6.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
