Sooooo Easy. Knit a swatch, enter your needle size(s), measure your swatch and input the row and stitch counts, measure your foot and leg, input those, choose between toe up or cuff down and presto! It spits out a pattern that you can use right on your phone, email it to yourself or print it out.
So, now, using some New Zealand Possum Yarn I got at at the Northern Michigan Lamb and Wool Festival last year, I’m knitting a sock, using only the SockCalc. We’ll see how that goes, but so far, it’s pretty good.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
