Sometimes I really love the look of what’s supposed to be the inside of a garment or knitting project as much as what is supposed to be the outside. When stranded knitting or slip stitches are involved, the floats can make a pattern or a different color can dominate, which is really cool.
Tif Neilan’s new hat Midnight Lights is a project like that. The side intended to be the right side shows strong vertical lines of slip stitches, but the “wrong” side looks almost like brioche, with the other color being much more dominant. You can wear it either way.
The pattern comes in four sizes from toddler to adult medium and is meant to be a little slouchy. You can grab the pattern on Ravelry for $6.
