Online knitting magazine Twist Collective has announced that it is ceasing publication with its most recent issue.
The magazine, which has been online for 10 years, offers knitting education and patterns that can be purchased individually or as a full ebook of the issue.
The closure was announced in a post on Facebook:
Dear Readers,
We have some sad news. After ten years of great work, Twist’s last issue is the September issue. This decision was not made easily, and we all have a very heavy heart, but with the changing face of the industry, it’s time to close this chapter and think about new adventures.
Thank you for all of your support. Patterns will be available on Ravelry and Twist Collective through the end of 2018. After that, individual designers will publish as they like.
It’s always sad to see a source for patterns — and a place for designers to get paid — disappear. All the best to all those involved.
