The winter edition of Knitty just came out, and it’s full of wintry goodness for all your knitting needs.
There are lots of hats, cowls and mitts that would be perfect for gift knitting, as well as some shawls and sweaters to knit for yourself (because we all need holiday gifts, right?).
One of my favorites is Yoru, a sweet Japanese-inspired cardigan with a roomy shape and a textured stitch pattern on the shawl collar and down the sleeves. It was designed by Valentina Cosciani.
I’m also thinking hard about the Paper Crane Shawl by Sara Lucas, the perfect thing for a big skein of ombre yarn.
See anything that catches your eye? I’d love to hear about it!
