From time to time Craftsy offers free mini-classes on topics to get people interested and give them a taste of what learning from a Craftsy class is all about. Right now there’s a free class going on all about short row shaping by designer Carol Feller.
According to the introductory materials, the class will teach four different ways to do short rows: wrap and turn, Japanese short rows, yarn over short rows and Feller’s own invisible short row method. Viewers will learn how to place bust darts, shape shoulders and use short rows in other ways to make their knitting fit.
And just because it’s free doesn’t mean it’s short; it looks like there are about two hours of content in these four lessons!
Sounds great to me. All you need to enroll is to sign up for a free Craftsy account. Then you can choose the class and watch it whenever you want. I know I’ll be taking a peek.
