Springtime is tantalizingly close but still relatively far away in at least parts of the top half of the world, but the other side of the globe is getting ready for fall and winter, so pretty much no matter where you live you might need a quick to knit hat pattern right about now.
This one from The Things We Do uses gray and white wool to make simple stripes and to help emphasize the decreases on the top of the hat.
It’s a pretty quick knit in rib and stockinette. The gray and white color scheme is perfect for going with anything, but you can of course use brighter colors for days when your wardrobe — and your spirits — need a lift.
Are you still knitting for winter or getting ready to start? I’d love to hear what’s on your needles!
