I don’t know much about the rest of the world, but it seems like most of America anyway can say that it’s been a pretty strange winter. Big storms, often where they shouldn’t be, mild days on the heels of icy ones, lots of sniffles and hope that spring comes soon and isn’t quite so crazy.
If you’re looking forward to the days when you can wear something a little lighter, check out Zelkova from Through the Loops (hat tip to Sandra Singh’s newsletter for highlighting this one).
This pretty sweater is mostly stockinette stitch with lace panels on the cardigan fronts. It doesn’t hurt that it’s worked in an absolutely gorgeous yarn, the Fiber Company’s Road to China, which is a blend of alpaca, silk, camel and cashmere. This garment is certainly a luxury, but wouldn’t you absolutely love knitting and wearing it?
The pattern itself runs $6.50 and is available as a PDF.
