I’ve been thinking about knitting up a little lunch box or bag, not because anyone in my home would actually use such a thing, but just because I get the back to school spirit even though no one’s really going to school in my household.
But if I don’t get to it this year, there’s a really cute lunch bag that kids or grownups would be happy to use over at Classic Elite Yarns’ website.
The bag itself is a really simple shape, and felting makes the bag sturdier and a little more insulating. The addition of a flower on the side gives it a fancier look, but you could embroider, needle felt or stitch on anything you like, or just leave yours plain. Or knit it in stripes. Whatever you like.
Are you doing any knitting for back to school? I’d love to hear about it.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
