This little tree is so pretty and I love the idea of using all your random bits of green yarn to make one (I have a lot of random bits of green yarn, but if you don’t I’m sure you could make it solid colored or with a variegated green and blue yarn of your choice).
The pattern is designed like an advent calendar, where you can knit one little piece every day, but I think you could probably knit this wee tree in a day, and make a bunch as ornaments or place setting decorations. The pattern includes instructions for making them to hang or sit on a surface.
You can get the pattern from Linda Regel on Ravelry.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
