Fancy colorwork and cabled sweaters are all well and good, but sometimes (most of the time for me) you really just want something simple you can knock out without too much trouble and wear with everything.
The Calliope sweater from Escpae Tricot is just that sort of sweater. It’s a simple raglan worked in the round from the top down with expanding ribbing in the yoke area and long ribbed sections on the sleeves.
It’s worked with lace and fingering weight yarn held together, or use a single strand of DK.
The pattern is free on Ravelry in English and French and is available in nine sizes to a finished bust circumference of 71 inches.
