Tamy Gore describes her Riverwinds Pullover as a simple, cozy Christmas sweater, which it absolutely could be knit as shown in red and white (or even red and green). But it’s a holiday sweater that isn’t really that holiday, so you can happily wear it the rest of the year, too.
It’s a cropped sweater with 3/4 sleeves, worked with two strands of fingering weight yarn held together. The circular yoke features stranded colorwork designs that continue onto the sleeve.
The pattern has nine size options, ranging from a chest measurement of 34 to 66 inches, and is meant to be worn with about 4 inches of positive ease.
