A Simple Bulky Cowl You Can Still Knit for the Holidays

December 19, by Sarah White. Leave a Comment

simple rules cowl quick knitting patternI know it doesn’t seem possible that you still have time to knit a cowl before it’s time to get it under the tree, but this one is simple.

In fact, it says so right in the name.

The Simple Rules Cowl from STASH Lounge uses a skein of thick-and-thin yarn, a size 10 US circular knitting needle and a simple rule that will make the knitting go super fast.

Don’t have a thick-and-thin yarn handy? Find something bulky in your stash and just make a Stockinette cowl. Even better, work ribbing for the first few and last few rounds so it doesn’t roll up.

Easy peasy, done in an evening or two, and they’ll never know you made it at the last minute.
