I have a giant cardigan that I wear pretty much all the time in winter. I call it my “house cardigan,” because like Mr. Rogers, I put it on almost as soon as I step in the door (and honestly sometimes I wear it outside the house, too).
It’s not homemade, but I have been thinking that I should make myself one or two giant cardigans so I don’t have to wear the same one all the time.
The Cotton Candy Easy Knit Cardigan from Mama in a Stitch could be in the running for such a project. It’s a big, roomy cardigan worked flat in pieces on big needles, so it should knit up pretty quickly with just knit and purl stitches and minimal shaping.
The yarn apparently is super soft and fluffy, too (this isn’t one I’ve tried but I’m eager to check it out!).
Do you have a knit garment you wear all the time? I’d love to hear about it.
