Somehow I’ve gotten way behind on sharing patterns that have caught my eye lately, so I’ll try to share more here for a while. The Lightweight Cowl from Classic Elite Yarns (that’s a link to the PDF) is a great choice for easy summer knitting and for wearing on cool nights or when your day takes you into buildings with too much air conditioning (which happens daily to me here in the south!).
The cowl is worked in three colors of an alpaca-silk blend yarn, in stockinette stitch in the round with occasional purl rounds to add more contrast.
It’s a really simple but pretty knit that you’re sure to use a lot. A perfect little everyday luxury.
Do you have go-to knit pieces you still wear in the summer? I’d love to hear about them!

Very nice cowl…I’ve used this pattern in a single color and it has a lovely texture.
