Even if you don’t know a lot of people who need gifts for new little ones, it’s always good to have a few easy but pretty baby blanket knitting patterns on hand when you need them.
This Baby Boom Blanket from Afra Amsterdam is one of those pretty and classic designs that parents will love. It uses slipped stitches on a field of Stockinette to bring interest to a solid color project (or you could use a tonal or variegated yarn, or even do a fade if you wanted).
