I want to call this a Halloween knitting pattern because it looks like a bat, but let’s be honest: if I knit this I would wear it all the time. Because who wouldn’t want to wrap themselves in a stunning hooded bat cape every day they could?
The design by Kate Bellando has a lacy chevron design and is worked in super bulky yarn for extra warmth.
Despite the large yarn, this isn’t a fast project, but it’s definitely worth the effort that will go into it.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
