I’m sure I’ve talked about my love for the Hermione’s Everyday Sock pattern by Erica Lueder before. It’s an easy but still fun pattern, practical and pretty like the girl wizard.
Have you seen Lori Wagner’s Diagon Ally Socks? As she describes them:
The inspiration for these socks came from my love of all things Harry Potter. I imagined Mrs. Weasley magically knitting socks for her children before they left for Hogwarts to start off the school year! She would need to make quite a few pairs of them so the pattern needed to be easy to memorize yet entertaining.
They include a twisted rib cuff and broken rib leg, with a cute faux cable worked diagonally (see what she did there?) across the top of the foot.
These socks include a lot of fun techniques and look like socks you’ll love to wear all the time.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
