While it’s plenty warm now, it won’t be forever in the Northern Hemisphere, and if it’s cold where you are it’s a fine time to knit something that will keep you warm and that’s fun and easy all at once.
Mama in a Stitch says that Boheme Days is a good knit to wear in the summer, too, and it probably is if the evenings turn cool where you live. I would use this in fall and winter where I live because it’s too hot to even consider a shawl this time of year.
It’s a large rectangle and there are actually two size options so you can make it double the size for extra warmth or to use as a throw in addition to a shawl. It uses simple stitches and the sample was worked with a multicolor yarn to make it look fancier without any extra work on your part. Or you can make it a stash buster and just change colors whenever you run out of yarn!

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
