So, I totally want to do a Bohus sweater. They are gorgeous and the colors….. wow! But, we can’t do it the easy way, nope, can’t just get a kit or even just get the yarn. I have some angora fur somewhere from my rabbit adventure awhile back, I’ll dig that out and see how it spins up, I’ll bet it will make a nice fluffy cloud. That will be the yoke. For the rest of the sweater, I’m not sure, will have to think on it. And I want some beads too, not just the purl effect that simulates beads, no, I’m all about go big or go home. The colors? Haven’t decided. Either greens or maybe pinks, blues are pretty, as are purples, off white and grey? Lol, probably should get that figured out too!
Went to the library and through the awesomeness of Inter Library Loan, got the book, Poems of Color by Wendy Keele. That will be a start. Stay tuned…..
Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
