I don’t wear knit hats very much, but I might if I made them prettier than I usually do.
The Pinata Hat from Lavanya Patricella is a really pretty hat using brioche knitting, Garter Stitch and two colors for a topper that looks elegant and fancy. It uses brioche increases and decreases, so it’s probably not a good choice for your first brioche knitting project, but definitely worth any learning curve it presents.
The motif is inspired by wheat and designed to look good on a man or a woman. It’s officially a one size fits most kind of pattern.
You can buy it on Etsy for $7.
