We knitters usually like the world to know our favorite craft, and there’s no reason the people who come to your house on Halloween shouldn’t know that you come armed with needles.
Knitting Daily has a couple of really cute downloadable templates you can use for pumpkin carving that will make it clear that you’re a knitter.
(They are free with a free membership to their site.)
The Beware of Knitter template shows a pair of crossed knitting needles under the words “Beware of Knitter,” while the Yarn Lovers template, shown here, features a ghoulish ball of yarn pierced by knitting needles.
Either of these strike your fancy? I’d love to know if you ever have or plan to carve a knitting-themed pumpkin.

Specific to knitters, you can join our Knitting Patterns Only group to get, well, knitting patterns, ask questions and gain inspiration for what to knit next.
Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
