Someone I follow on Facebook recently posted an article about a knit geode made by Barbara Tomlinson, which is completely awesome and fantastic and now I want to knit one.
Don’t you?
The good news is, we all can knit geodes. The pattern is available at Beachton Knit Works, and is based on a pattern by Jessica Goddard from Odd Knit, whose website lives up to the name.
Both versions are gorgeous, and a great use for some fun beads you might have lying around.
Knitting scientists are awesome.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
This pattern is so cool. Thanks for posting and sharing it!
