Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s iconic lace collars have become quite the popular accessory/motif for crafters this year. They’re a striking accessory to wear when you go voting or just to honor RBG in crafting.
The latest design in this genre are the Dissent socks from Tiina Kuu. Here the lace is transformed into colorwork that runs around the top of the leg with a different colorwork motif across the top of the foot near the toe and the word dissent on the bottom of the foot.
The socks are worked from the top down with a turned cuff in two colors of yarn and come in three sizes. The pattern is a free download from Ravelry.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
