For The Christmas Party…. Next weekend?
Not likely. Oh, I’ll get it started, and work on it religiously, until someone shines another shiny object (read…. project I must start) in front of my face, then it will be abandoned. I am such an ADD knitter!
This is what I’m talking about:
Pretty isn’t it. I’m thinking maybe in green, with some beads…. let’s not go there.
Anyway, it’s a free pattern from Tahki Stacy-Charles, here: http://www.tahkistacycharles.com/media/File/29:52_FreePatKnitSIAMMistletoeTop.pdf
Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
I love it! I’m thinking a nice mossy green with amber beads. I did think you were in the frozen tundra of northern MI where bare arms are not seen for at least 9 months of the year, though. And only speaking for myself, still arse-deep in gift knitting, I think I’d get it all done except for the leaves – the best part. Good luck!
Yeah, up here it would have to be a vest, or underneath a blazer (and parka!)
