I got a random email from Red Heart the other day thanking me for subscribing to their newsletter (which I have done for a long time, is why it was random) but it included a link to an ebook all Best Hats for All, which includes 18 knit and crocheted hat patterns sized for babies up to adults.
There are eight patterns for knit hats, including owl hats for adults and kids, a couple of mostly stockinette hats, a ribbed hat and scarf set, a cabled hat for little kids, a set of basic watch caps (pom-pom optional) sized from kids to adult men and a wee little hat for a newborn.
The owl hats are the cutest, of course, but the rest of these are nice, basic patterns you can knit for your whole family, for gift knitting or for charity projects.
See anything that catches your eye? I’d love to hear about it.

Specific to knitters, you can join our Knitting Patterns Only group to get, well, knitting patterns, ask questions and gain inspiration for what to knit next.
