If you want to spread a little cheer to someone you can’t visit or to your neighborhood, why not knit a rainbow to put in a window? It’s a sweet gesture that reminds us that we are not alone in this and that there is always a rainbow after the hard times are over.
I found a couple of cute free rainbow knitting patterns, but owuld love you to add links if you have a pattern you love.
Knit By Post has an easy little rainbow knitting pattern that starts from the outside edge and is shaped with decreases. It’s a circle that you then fold in half to make into a rainbow.
This super bulky rainbow by Erin Black is worked flat in two pieces and seamed at the end. The pom-pom clouds are extra adorable. If you don’t have super bulky yarn try two strands of worsted held together.
I hope these patterns bring a smile to your face!
