Rainbows are a potent symbol of hope, and I feel like we could all use a little extra dose of hope these days, am I right?
Melanie Berg’s Cloudbreak Shawl uses the colors of a rainbow in a cloud to bring us the comfort of sunny days even when it’s stormy out.
The design uses fingering weight yarn and a collection of rainbow colored mini skeins to make the textured pattern at the edges (though of course you could use one color for the whole colorwork portion, or several, or make it a gradient or a scrappy project).
You can grab the pattern on Ravelry for €5.50.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
