I seem to be on a bit of an earwarmer/headband kick lately. The thing is, they’re a great early project for people learning to knit — or learning to knit in the round — and they are faster to knit and usually not as fiddly as hats.
The Effortless Earwarmer from Little Larkspur Designs is perfect for using a little bit of super bulky yarn and you can really knit it in about an hour if you’re not trying any new skills on this project.
Even if you are it will still be pretty fast.
This is a great one to keep on hand for stash busting and gift knitting (you can also combine two worsted weight yarns to get a similar weight if you’re using up yarn on this project).
You can grab the free pattern on Ravlery or on her Instagram profile if you don’t do Ravelry.

Thank you so much. I’m looking forward to trying this. I do charity knitting for my local library. They have a warming wall. Anyone that has a need can take a hat or ear warmer!
