Faded patterns are all the rage in the knitting world these days, and the Patons Fade to Summer Top is a simple way to try the trend without buying a ton of yarn.
The pattern, designed by Anne Weil of Flax & Twine, is two rectangles worked with three strands of yarn held together. As you shift the number of strands in each color, the colors mix and fade together.
You can get the free pattern on Yarnspirations, and they also have a kit where you can buy all the yarn you need for the project.
