The free pattern from the Sweater Babe this month is one I’m really interested in because I think I’m making cowls for a bunch of people for Christmas this year.
The Deluxe Lace Cowl uses a bold textured lace pattern and a big scale to make a huge impact, even though the project shouldn’t take that long to knit.
It certainly looks really warm and cozy, and fun to knit as well.
This pattern normally retails for $4.50 but you can download it for free if you hit that link before Oct. 31, 2014.
I’d love to know if you check it out!

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
