Socks are super fun to knit for a lot of reasons, but one of my favorite things about socks is that they give you a chance to learn new skills or try new stitch patterns on a small scale.
This lacy sock pattern from A Bee in the Bonnet features a delicate texture that is easy to memorize while still being fun to work. It’s well suited to beginners but uses a less common toe construction so more experienced knitters will still learn something. It’s also graded to three sizes.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
