A cabled scarf is a great choice for adding a little texture to your winter outfits, and of course a cable is considered “manly” so you can knit a cabled scarf for a guy without him protesting that there’s too much decoration (usually).
This free pattern features a pair of staghorn cables and is worked with two strands of lightweight yarn held together, or you could use a thicker yarn to being with.
This would be a nice introduction to cables if you haven’t worked any or many before, and it produces a handsome scarf with little effort (scroll down on the page for the instructions in English).

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
Thank you for sharing my pattern! I feel very honored 🙂
