I told you the other day that I was going to start sharing Halloween patterns, and then I didn’t. So I offer you this oldie but goodie that is the first thing I think of when I think of knitting patterns for Halloween.
The felted baby Yoda hat (available as a free Ravelry download) is just about the cutest thing ever, and I really wanted to make one for my little girl, but her head was so small for her first Halloween (and we didn’t leave the house anyway) it didn’t seem worth it.
Last year she actually was Yoda for Halloween (because she was too young to insist on a costume) but instead of knitting up this hat I made her one out of fleece. Which was just as well, because she only wore it for about 14 seconds anyway.
If you know a baby who will still be new around Halloween and who has been or will be born to geeks, this hat is a great choice.

Wondering why there is a new hype on Yoda or Baby Yoda? Have you seen the Star Wars show The Mandalorian ? Well everyone loved Yoda the first time around and now that he is baby Yoda he is even more adorable. This project is easily adapted for a Baby Yoda pattern, craft project and or tutorial.
