Nancy’s ColorPlay Bag by Nancy Powell Thompson and Anne Berk was supposed to be published in Berk’s book Annetarsia Knits but didn’t end up being used.
The pattern is now available on Ravelry, and is being sold for $2, with all money raised going to Doctors without Borders.
You can read more about the pattern and the fundraiser at Berk’s website, but this is a really cute little colorwork bag that’s perfect for stash busting. It features diagonal and horizontal stripes on one side and color blocked squares on the other. You could use up so many little odd balls on this one, and help a great cause, too.

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
