I love brioche as much as the next person, but I’ll admit it’s not the easiest pattern to knit. The good news is there are some stitch patterns that give you a similar squish factor that are a little easier to knit.
The Gradient Ribbed Cowl from Two of Wands uses Half Fisherman Rib in the round using four colors to make a classic and colorful cowl. It’s rated easy and uses worsted weight yarn.
