If you knit gifts for other people, you know it can sometimes be a gamble as to whether they can properly take care of whatever it is you are gifting them. That’s why superwash wool is such an amazing thing, but I digress.
For those who receive knit items but might not know how to take care of them properly, add these gift tags from Mama in a Stitch.
They indicate that a project was made with 100 percent love. They call for “special care” when washing and laying flat to dry.
Of course I would come right out and say it if your project needs to be hand washed (which I have done with handmade tags you can see at the bottom of this post), but they’re still really cute and great for when they really do just need to be careful with something that is machine washable. Or write in hand wash only to be more explicit.
