Knit a Sweet Treat for Your Hands

September 19, by Sarah White. 1 Comment

knit candy corn mittens for kidsEveryone, it seems, has a strong opinion about candy corn. I think it’s disgusting and a waste of calories that could otherwise be consumed in chocolate.

But even I can see its graphic appeal, those bold stripes that are prefect for translating into your favorite craft media.

For instance, these candy corn mittens from Knits’ End are adorable. They’re really easy to knit, too, because they’re worked flat and seamed along the sides when you’re done.

She has the size for kids ages 5 to 8 for free on her site, or you can buy a pattern with sizes for a full range of kiddos if you need other sizes.

Dare I say these mittens are sweet? Just don’t make me eat them!
