Sometimes it can be difficult to get kids and teens interested in knitting. They tend to like to DIY nature of knitting but sometimes lack the attention span to see a big project through to the end (adults, too right?).
This collection of knitting projects for teens and tweens from Moms and Crafters is a great place to start with a young knitter. Not all of the projects are super fast, but most of them are, and they knit up quick accessories or decor for a teen’s room that they are sure to enjoy making and using.
I love these knit stacking bowls, which are just made out of I-cord that’s coiled and sewn together. But there’s a lot of great stuff here, so go check it out.
Do you have any favorite knitting patterns for kids, tweens or teens to knit for themselves? I’d love to hear about it.
