I have a very old cat (he’s 16 and a half!) and he loves to get involved with knitting projects whenever possible. He’s not one for getting under the covers, though, so I’m not sure how he would feel about this giant knit cat tube project from Knitting Novice.
It’s a super easy, mindless knitting project that would be great for stash busting, too, if you happen to have lots of bulky yarn bits lying around.
I like how she used tubing in the ends to give them a bit of stability, making it easier for cats to explore and not get caught up in the tube.
Do you have a cat that would love this project? Tell me about them!

Fall will be here before we know it, and that means there are holidays coming right behind where we might be entertaining at home. It’s always fun to have a hand knit touch in your home for other people to see, and if you’re going to be in the kitchen all day you might as well have some nice knit dish cloths to use.
