With all the sad news of high-profile suicides lately, it’s important to take the time to make sure that the people we care about know we care about them and are thinking about them.
That can be as simple as picking up the phone and calling or sending an email, or making them something special to remind them of our good thoughts.
I came across this pattern for a knit pocket prayer cloth and I thought it might be an appropriate gesture for some people to let them know you are thinking of them.
It’s a simple square with bobbles in the shape of a cross. If you’re knitting for someone who is not Christian or whose religious feeling you don’t know about, you could use a heart shape instead.
