Interweave Knits has a new editor. Lisa Shroyer, who had been editor since mid-2013, has stepped up to a larger role at Interweave as content strategist for the yarn group.
In her place comes Meghan Babin, who has been a passionate knitter for about 10 years, has worked in a yarn shop (Cornwall Yarn Shop) for eight years, and had her first design published in Interweave Knits in fall 2014. You can see some of her designs in the picture above.
After visiting the home office in Colorado she felt a pull to the area. When she heard Shroyer was moving on, she said:
After recovering from my disappointment, as Lisa has been a huge part of launching my design career (and she’s awesome), I had an epiphany—I could be the editor of Interweave Knits!
Get to know Meghan on Ravelry or at her website, Meggopurls. Congratulations, Meghan.
