As much as I’m not ready to admit it, it’s probably time to start thinking at least a little bit about knits for fall. Shawls are great for the end of summer and beginning of fall, when the early mornings and evenings might be cooler than the rest of the day.
If you’re in the market for a new shawl to knit, check out the Francy Shawl from Rebecca McKenzie. It’s a winged triangle worked from the top down and has three different wingspan sizes. It’s mostly Garter Stitch, with some eyelets and a lacy border worked with a fun picot bind off.
If you want to make one of these shawls, the pattern is available on Ravelry for $7. Rebecca is also hosting a knitalong on her Instagram page starting today (Aug. 3, 2020) if you’d like to knit along.
