I have a single ball of kind of peachy pink mohair yarn that I’ve been wanting to use, and I think I’m going to use it held with different yarn for the sleeves of a sweater, and then the body of the sweater will just be the other yarn.
Combining mohair with other yarn makes such a fun, fuzzy fabric that’s warm and has a nice haze. If I had enough of it, I’d probably knit something like the Frost sweater from Heidi May.
This is a basic top-down sweater that’s made special by the combination of a worsted weight wool and a lace weight mohair blend, which gives the fabric a fuzzy glow. The pattern is sized from 1-2 years to a 4 XL, or 66.25 inches. It’s meant to be worn with a couple of inches of positive ease.
You can check the pattern out on Ravelry.
