Stitch & Unwind recently shared a post about the Friendly Fair Isle Hat from Purl Soho, which is a great little pattern with just a bit of colorwork that’s great for knitters who are new to stranded knitting.
It’s sized for babies, kids, and small and large adults, so you can make one for anyone in your house, and they’re worked in a great bulky yarn with big needles so they’ll knit up in a hurry.
Also, giant pom-poms, which are totally on-trend and fun, but could really be done without it if you’re knitting for a guy who is not into giant pom-poms. Whatever.
Even though winter is pretty done where I live, I kind of want to knit one of these anyway. Southern Hemisphere people, check it out!
