I knit a dress once, a long time ago. It’s a bulky, mostly Stockinette, cowl necked beauty I hardly ever wear (because it’s bulky wool so it’s really warm, even for me) but I do love it.
Knitting dresses seems like a lot of work, and it is, but when they’re as lovely as Love Story from DROPS Design, well, it just might be worth it.
This cotton dress has three-quarter bell sleeves and lace along the bottom of the skirt and sleeves, as well as at the center front, and it has cute twined ties accented with wooden beads at the front. It’s just the right amount of boho, and looks like it would be a lot of fun to wear.

Not too long ago I did a test knit for another designer that was for a cabled cardigan. It’s really cozy and nice but it just about broke me in a ton of different ways. I couldn’t get gauge, which I suppose is my own problem, but mainly I was somehow both bored and forced to pay attention at the same time.
