Knit a Hat for Everyone with This Fun Pattern

January 5, by Sarah White. 1 Comment

Garter rib beanie free knitting pattern in eight sizes. It’s not often that you find hat knitting patterns that are sized for pretty much everyone you know, from newborn babies to large adults, and even less common to find a hat pattern that everyone in that range might universally like.

Underground Crafter has a great free pattern on her website for a Garter Rib Beanie, which can be made in any size with a single skein of the chosen yarn, and which is great for men, women and kids.

The pompom is a fun but totally optional choice if you’re knitting for men or boys who might not like it.

As I write this there’s the tiniest snow flurry happening outside my window, reminding me there’s plenty of winter left to knit hats in — and to wear knit hats in.

Do you have a go-to pattern for a hat that everyone loves? I’d love to hear about it!

Thanks for sharing my hat pattern! We just got snow flurries here last night, too.
